Physiotherapists use a variety of physical techniques and therapies in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients who are suffering from illnesses and/or injuries. Patients can include children, the elderly, stroke patients and people with sports injuries.
Physiotherapists are considered primary care health practitioners so an individual is able to consult them without a physician’s referral, however some insurers require a referral before they will cover the service cost. Also, individuals under the age of 19 or over 65, or are receiving income from Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program, are possibly eligible for OHIP covered physiotherapy. Please contact your family physician to inquire about the details.

"Swavek had been my physiotherapist for several years until I moved out of Ontario. Pays attention to details. Keen on quality. I would CERTAINLY recommend him."
