Dr. Carrie Meszaros ND, RAc. is originally from Paris, Ontario. Dr. Meszaros did her university training at the University of Guelph, where she received an honours degree in Bio-Medical Science. Following university, Dr. Meszaros received her naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. At CCNM, she studied core medical sciences as well as holistic and non-toxic approaches to treatment - with an emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness.
Dr. Meszaros moved to Stratford, Ontario in 2001 to begin her naturopathic practice. In 2003, she opened her own clinic, The Naturopathic Care Centre. Dr. Meszaros has practised acupuncture since 2001, as part of naturopathic practice and in 2014, when the new regulatory body for acupuncturists was formed; she became licensed as a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. In 2015, Dr. Meszaros completed the Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics Course and Exam to allow an expanded scope of practice that authorizes therapeutic prescription of thyroid medications and bio-identical hormones.
