One of greatest challenges facing the Canadian healthcare systems today is the increasing shortage of doctors.
While our community struggles to find an available family doctor, the government continues to put caps and limits on the number of residencies in Canada. It is almost impossible for medical graduates from other countries to become a doctor in Ontario and as a result, many of our potential doctors end up crossing the border to find work in the U.S.
