About Me

I've been practicing dentistry in Sarnia, Ontario Canada since 2003. I've owned/operated my own dental practice (Great Lakes Dental) since 2008. Prior to becoming a Dentist, I attended the University of Western Ontario to complete my honour's degree in Genetics. I was then accepted into several dental programs throughout North America. I ultimately choose to attend Case Western Reserve University, located in Cleveland, Ohio. After achieving my Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2003, I returned to my hometown of Sarnia, Ontario to establish my career. I'm both the founder and principle Dentist of Great Lakes Dental. I'm also an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. I'm a certified provider of Cerec Dentistry (a unique CAD/CAM system for patient-specific ceramic restorations in a single visit) and Invisalign. I devote many days each year to continuing my education through seminars, study clubs and conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest changes and techniques in dentistry. Throughout my career, I made a point to commit my time and effort to give back and improve the lives of those in my community. Over the years, I've supported a variety of charitable, cultural, sports & community causes. Initiatives that focus on at-risk youth are central to my philanthropic endeavours. I've been able to effectively combine personal leadership with strategic giving & public awareness to deliver significant results that have left a lasting impact. When I'm not practicing dentistry or volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. I'm also an avid runner, having completed marathons and several road races. I also enjoy playing piano, reading and hiking in my free time.
